Jean Marie Staley

Jean Marie Staley October 21, 1927 ~ March 7, 2020 Jean Marie Staley, 92, of Greeley, CO, passed away on March 7, 2020 at Green House Homes at Mirasol in Loveland, while surrounded by family. Jean was born October 21, 1927, in Flushing, Michigan to Mowris and Juanita (Kent) Bagnall. She spent her early years in Flushing and Saginaw. With her degrees in nursing and maternity she started her lifelong passion of serving God and caring for others. As a missionary to Pakistan she taught nursing and met her husband Robert W. Staley there and were happily married for 52 years, until his passing in 2015. Our Mom’s gift to this world was taking care of others, and she did it with her whole heart full of love and kindness. Well done good and faithful servant. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings. She is survived by her children David (Rena) Staley of Napa, CA, Gwen Staley of Loveland, Beth (Paulie) Manna, of Westminster, and Sara (Steve) Staley-Schwartz of Greeley. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Kaela, Brandi, Sara, Ruth, Nathan, Esther and her great-grandson; Bodhi. Life Celebration Service: Friday, March 13, 10:30am at Bethel Baptist Church, 2307 17th Ave, Greeley, CO 80631, with reception at the church, and interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 1:00pm.
