Shirley Jean Gray

Shirley Jean Gray, 83, of Greeley passed away Friday, April 10, 2020 in Loveland. She was born September 28, 1936 in Windsor to Henry and Frieda (Lesser) Wolfe. She graduated from Greeley Central High School in 1954 and married Robert W. Gray on October 10, 1954 in Greeley. She loved children and worked as a child caregiver for many years as well as volunteering to be cookie chairman and assisting with the Girls Scouts and teaching Sunday school. She worked at K-Mart for 28 years, most recently as a Human Resource Manager. She enjoyed camping, playing cards with friends and family, feeding ducks at the park, lunches with her "K-Mart ladies”, trips to San Diego to see grandkids, cross-stitching, knitting and crossword puzzles and was a member of the Cornerstone Community (Presbyterian) Church. Survivors include her daughters; Jacquelyn Gray of Angel Fire, NM and Katherine Ross of Greeley, grandsons; Harrison Ross and Travis Artiche, sisters; Sandy (Gordon) Brooks and Linda Ranaberger (Bill), brother; Arnold Wolfe. She was preceded in death by her husband and brothers, Alvin Wolfe and Charles Conrey. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, April 23 at Adamson with a graveside service to follow at 3 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
