Lucille S. Suniga

Lucille "Sandy” Suniga, 72, of Greeley, went to eternal rest on June 20, 2020 in Greeley, Colorado. She was born to Anastacio and Lillian (Garcia) Tellez on October 13, 1947 in Greeley, Colorado. She attended and graduated from Greeley High. Sandy worked as a teacher assistant at Billie Martinez, then moved on to a new career at Hewlett Packard where she was actively involved in the Diversity Program. She was employed briefly with the City of Greeley Public Works Department and ended her working career with The Greeley Medical Clinic as the Insurance Billing Administrator. Sandy enjoyed shopping and cooking. Her family loved her tortillas and her homemade empanadas. Above all, she loved and adored her entire family, especially her grandchildren. Her loving and caring heart will be missed by all that knew her. Sandy is remembered for her beautiful singing voice and her love of music and dancing. Sandy is survived by her husband, Louie; children, Daughters; Stacy (Deb) Suniga, Dionne (Efren) Perez, Sons; Lee (Stephanie) Suniga and Louis Suniga; Grandchildren, Joshua (Vanessa) Romero, Zachary Romero, Evan Perez, Jaslyne (Mike) Etheridge, Darren Perez, Jonah Suniga, Lucy Suniga and Storey Suniga; great grandchildren, Jordyn, Jaylin, Shawn and Evelyn; Siblings, Eddie (Cynthia) Tellez, Susie (C.G.) Grimm, Harry Tellez and Linda Tellez. She is preceded in death by her parents Anastacio and Lillian Tellez, sisters Magdalena and Delores, brothers Larry, Lewis, Danny, Jerry and George.
