Wilma June Croissant
December 11th, 1927 - December 21st, 2020
Wilma June Croissant, 93, of Greeley, passed away on December 21, 2020. As a devoted Republican, she swore she would never see Joe Biden go into office; and so she died. Wilma was born on December 11, 1927 to John and Lena (Moser) Schwab in Grover, Colorado. She graduated from Grover High School in 1945 and from the Denver Business College in 1947. Wilma married Elvin Croissant on December 28, 1947 in Greeley. Wilma was a homemaker and as a second career worked at Walmart as a greeter, and most recently in the shoe department, for 32 years. She was a long time member of St. Paul’s Congregational Church. Wilma collected dolls, enjoyed square dancing, playing rummy and Dairy Queen, she was also a huge Trump supporter. She loved Walmart, her cat Gracie, and most of all her family. Wilma was a registered donor. At the age of 93 she was able to gift her skin to the Donor Alliance to help burn victims, cancer patients, amputees and wounded warriors. She is survived by her daughter Debbie Loeffler and husband Tom Pollard of Greeley, grandchildren, Emily Orr and husband Troy of Fort Collins; Luke Loeffler and wife Michela of Greeley; Ryan Pollard and partner Lee Riley of Denver, and Danielle Ballard and husband Tyson of Greeley, and great-grandchildren; McKenna & Lorelei Orr, Landon and Levi Loeffler, and Demery and Sloane Ballard. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elvin, whom she was married to for 55 years, before his passing in 2002, her parents, 3 siblings, and son, Kenneth. A graveside service will be held at 11:00am, Monday, December 28, 2020 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Her family will receive friends from 12:00pm – 1:30pm at Adamson Life Celebration Home.
