Irvin Leslie Adkisson

Irvin Leslie Adkisson, 58, of Milliken, CO. died at his summer cabin in Poudre Canyon July 4, 1940. He was born April 28, 1912 in Renick, MO to William J. and Cinia C. (Cowden) Adkisson. He was raised in Missouri and moved to the Milliken area in 1934 and had lived there since. He married Delpha Irene Current December 23, 1933 at Red Rocks church, Missouri. He was employed at a mechanic for Great Western Sugar Company. Mr. Adkisson was a member of Milliken I.O.O.F. No. 97. Survivors are his wife, Delpha of Milliken; two sons, Armond and Bruce Adkisson, both of Milliken; one grandson; three brothers, Russell Adkisson of Centralia, MO, Woodrow Adkisson of Pacifica, CA, and Grudny Adkisson of Milliken. One son, Marvin Ray Adkisson, preceded him in death. Services will be held Wednesday, July 8, 1970 at 1:30 p.m. at Adamson Memorial Chapel. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
