Robert William Hirsch, 90, of Windsor, CO passed away on July 22nd, 2011 in Greeley. Bob is a graduate of Manual High School and the University of Denver, where he was a star baseball player. He went on to play professional baseball for a number of years, before starting his long career as a teacher and Administrator for the Denver Public Schools. Bob is a veteran of World War II, serving in England with the 305th Bomb Group. He is survived by his wife Rosalyn; daughters Teresa (Frank) Coons and Cynthia (Bruce) Hirsch; and son John; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Inurnment will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery 2:00p.m.Thursday, staging area A. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts to the "American Red Cross” or "Rocky Mountain PBS”, in care of Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services, 2000 47th Ave., Greeley, CO 80634.
