Patricia Ann Brostrom

Patricia Ann Brostrom, 76, of Greeley, CO passed away September 8, 2011 at Hospice and Palliative Care of Northern Colorado. Patricia was born October 17, 1934 in Oskaloosa, IA to Farrell and Margaret (Dye) Scott. She grew up in Oskaloosa and graduated from high school there. She married Jerry Brostrom in 1953. They later divorced. Pat valued staying home with her children while they were young. She later worked in the financial aid department at University of Northern Colorado and retired in the early 90’s. She enjoyed playing bridge, watching the Colorado Rockies and spending time with her family and friends. She had a light hearted sense of humor and was a generous person who liked to volunteer. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Brostrom of Idaho Springs, CO; son, Chris (Debra) Brostrom of Parker, CO; granddaughter, Natasha Hazlett of Colorado Springs, CO; great grandson, Aidan Taylor of Colorado Springs; brothers, Frank (Marilyn) Scott of Oskaloosa and Jim (Nancy) Scott of Bettendorf, IA. Pat was preceded in death by her parents. Private family services will be held at a later date.
