Thomas "Tom" Allen Wayne
July 15th, 1931 - June 13th, 2014
THOMAS A. WAYNE age 82 of Jefferson passed away on Friday June 13, 2014 at the Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center in Johnson Creek. He was born on July 15, 1931 in Yorkville, Illinois son of the late Arthur and Freda (Miller) Wayne. Thomas had served in the United States Army during the Korean War, 1952-1954. He had 3 brothers who also served in the military. He farmed in Illinois then moved to Wisconsin with his family in 1966 and farmed in the Rome area following his military service and was the Manager of FarmCo Coop, Sullivan Branch. Tom was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, and the Wisconsin Badgers. He also loved to tinker with old John Deere tractors and his 1952 Ford pickup He was a member of the American Legion Post 513 in Rome, WI. He will be deeply missed by his family; Daughters; Teresa (Goran) Hellekant of Duluth MN, LeAnn Kissner of Jefferson, Tracy (Eric) Schneider of Watertown, Sons; Thomas (Denise) Wayne II of Oconomowoc, David (Joy) Wayne of Colorado Springs, CO 14 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild. Brothers; William (Rose) Wayne of Seattle, WA, Fred (Marie) Wayne of Yorkville, IL He is preceded in death by his brother and sister in law; John "Jack" (Marge) Wayne Visitation will be held from 1:00-4:00 p.m. on Sunday June 22, 2014 at the Schneider-Michaelis Funeral home in Jefferson. Service to be held afterward. Burial with Military Honors and graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday June 23, 2014 at the Oswego Township Cemetery in Oswego, Illinois.
