LLOYD W. R. ALBRECHT age 87 of Jefferson passed away on Monday October 18, 2010 at Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital. He was born on March 23, 1923 in Milwaukee Wisconsin, son of the late Arthur and Ella (Ihlenfeld) Albrecht. He married Delight Brawders on September 27, 1947 in Milwaukee, WI Lloyd served in the United States Army as a Paratrooper. He was employed at Stoppenbach Sausage Co. for 38 years, retiring in 1986. He was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jefferson. Lloyd enjoyed bicycle riding, tennis, playing cards, traveling and spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed by his wife Delight of Jefferson, four daughters; Debra Kline of Janesville, Susan Lenz (Jeff Whiting) of Fort Atkinson, Patricia (Thomas) Kreklow of Fort Atkinson, Barbara (Douglas) King of Jefferson, two sons; Thomas Albrecht (Luann Clark) of Fort Atkinson, Scott Albrecht of Texas, 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, one brother Glen Albrecht of Florida, and sisters-in-law; Florence Albrecht of Maryland, Marge Albrecht of Marshfield, brothers in-law Arnold (Jean) Brawders of Jefferson, John Brawders of Birchwood, Wisconsin, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister Janet Aiken, brothers; Harold, and Earl Albrecht. Funeral services will be held on Friday October 22, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jefferson with the Rev. Dr. Kenneth Comstock officiating. Military Honors will follow the funeral service. Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 pm on Thursday evening at the Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home in Jefferson, and Friday morning at the Church from 10:00-10:45 a.m prior to the service Memorials may be directed to St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lloyd's memory.
