Lois Ermagene Hill
September 25th, 1927 - March 27th, 2005
Lois Ermagene Hill, 77, of Cloquet, died peacefully Sunday, March 27, 2005 in Inter-Faith Care Center in Carlton. She was born September 25, 1927 in Minneapolis to Charles and Olive Hathaway. She married Francis O. Hill on December 10, 1955. She enjoyed her hobbies of playing the organ, doing crafts, spending time with her family and dog, Sassy. She also enjoyed telling stories of her childhood with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Olive Hathaway; her husband, Francis O. Hill; one grandson, Francis A. Swenson and 22 siblings. Lois has gone home to be with the Lord but will be greatly missed by her loving family. She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Hartung of Janesville, WI; her son, James (Nancy) Hill of Hermantown; two daughters, Rose Gerding of Cloquet and Debbie (Todd) Youngberg of Grand Rapids; 10 grandchildren, Barry and Kevin Swenson, DeAnna Edwardson, Jessica Gerding, James, Jr. and Jon Hill, Josh Gerding, Douglas Hill, and Shawna and Austin Youngberg; 9 great grandchildren, Damon and Whitney Swenson, Derek, Donavan and Barry, Jr. Swenson, Jenna and Melissa Swenson, Joshua Douglas Gerding and Kaitlyn Marie Hill. Funeral services were held on Thursday, March 31, 2005 in Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th Street, Cloquet. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery, Carlton.
