Thomas Roy O'Connell
March 19th, 1953 - June 12th, 2018
Thomas Roy O'Connell, 65 of Wrenshall passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday, June 12, 2018. He was born March 19, 1953 in Duluth to Roy and Fern O'Connell. Tom graduated from Morgan Park High School in 1971. He worked at Diamond Tool and after it closed he went to work at Bayside Recycling. Tom enjoyed hunting, gardening, listening to music, woodworking, and working in his yard. Tom was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his daughter, Crystal (Andrew) Leal of Cloquet; son, Thomas (Leslie) O'Connell of Texas; his mother, Fern O'Connell of Duluth; grandsons, Taylor, Liam, Callum, Christian, and Cameron; siblings, Sandy (Dave Sorenson) O'Connell, Jackie (Denny) Stowe, and Rick O'Connell; his beloved companion, Reds; and many nieces and one nephew. The family would like to thank TLC and Jim and Laurie Nordrum and Sue Salgy for the loving care they provided to Tom. Visitation: 10:30 until the 11:30 a.m. Memorial Service Friday, June 22, 2018 in the United Protestant Church . 88th Ave. W. and Arbor St. in Morgan Park.
