Haar (nee Kennedy) Avis Rose Beloved Mom, Grandma & Great Grandma Age 92- passed away on March 28, 2015 Preceded in death by husband Jack; daughter Jane Haar; grandson Paul Mertens; parents; parents-in-law; brothers & sisters including special sister Gladys Kennedy. Survived by children Joan Smith (Ron), Kathy Bemis (Dean), Jack (Dani), Steve (Sandy), Michelle Horazdovsky (Steven), Mike (Liz) and Mary Lawrence (Tim); 16 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and dear friends at St. Mark's and her nursing friends. Avis was a very active volunteer in her community and she thought the world of her wonderful friends and co-workers at Mounds Park Hospital. Funeral Service Tuesday (March 31) at 11:00 am at ST. MARK'S EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2499 Helen Street (Door 7W). Interment Acacia Park Cemetery. Visitation Monday (TODAY) 4-7:00pm at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Avenue, North St. Paul and one hour before the service at church on Tuesday. Memorials preferred to St. Mark's Church.
