Ellen Phyllis Grossman

Miss Ellen Phyllis Grossman, 65, of Carlisle Road, died peacefully surrounded by her loving caregivers on Saturday, February 11, 2012. Born in Brooklyn, NY on January 1, 1947 she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Mildred Fishman Grossman. Ellen will be remembered as caring spirit. She enjoyed the sun, gardening, new born babies. Her smile and spirit will always be remembered and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her sister, Arlene VanAmburgh of Del Ray Beach, FL; a special nephew, Jeff Goldstein of New York City; and her housemates and caregivers at Liberty and the caregivers at Mountain Valley Hospice. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother in law, Ed VanAmburgh. A Service of Remembrance will take place on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 10 o'cock at the Liberty Home at 169 Carlisle Road, Canajoharie, NY with the Rev. Dr. R.W. Williams presiding. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
