Flint G. Warren
December 9th, 1940 - June 3rd, 2008
Flint D. Warren, 67, formerly of Amsterdam, passed away in Denver, CO on June 3 after a long illness. Born December 9, 1940, Flint was the son of the late Johnnie and Jack Warren. Flint was the former pianist, choral director and active member of Emmanuel Presbyterian Church and Broadalbin Presbyterian Church. He was attending St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Savannah, GA at the time of his passing. A 1958 graduate of Amsterdam High School, Flint was a dedicated employee of New York State Office of the State Comptroller from 1959 to his retirement in April of 1995. Flint is survived and will be sadly missed by his wife of 2 1/2 years, Mrs. Vilma Fields Warren of Savannah, GA; and also by his two daughters from his marriage to Donna Fetterly Warren, Jacquelyn Mosher and her husband Paul and Tracey Sierra and her husband Juan; a sister, Mrs. Frances Devendorf of Amsterdam; four grandchildren, Paul Jr. and Ryan Flint Mosher and Cassandra and John Sierra. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. A memorial service to celebrate his life will take place at 6:30PM Friday, June 27th at Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam with the Rev. Christopher A. Smith, officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends one hour prior to the service from 5:30 to 6:30 at the funeral home.
