Carol A. Kowalski R.N., 82, of Hagaman, New York passed away peacefully on December 31, 2021. Born in Amsterdam, NY on November 2, 1939 she was the daughter of the late Walter and Elizabeth “Bessie” Hoffman Bojarski. A lifelong area resident, Carol attended local schools. She later went on to graduate from St. Mary’s School of Nursing and furthered her education in New York City. For 35 years she was employed as a Registered Nurse with St. Mary’s Healthcare. Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Thomas J. Kowalski, son Michael and his wife Deanine Kowalski, son Brian Kowalski, grandson Mitchell and wife Kaylee Kowalski and granddaughter Caitlin and husband David Ericksen. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 5 until 7p.m. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam. Private burial will take place in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Foundation of St. Mary’s Healthcare, 427 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY 12010.
