Jeffrey W. Stevens

Jeffrey W. Stevens, age 81, of Gloversville, passed away Monday, May 13, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 1, 1942, in Gloversville, the son of William and Julia (Webster) Stevens. He was employed as a leather worker by Karg Brothers in Johnstown, for many years. He enjoyed reading, music and was a life-long New York Yankee fan. Jeffrey was a devoted father, grandfather, and great grandfather, who loved spending time, and sharing many stories and life-wisdoms "Jeffisms" with his family, who will miss him dearly. Jeff is survived by two children, Lisa Washburn (John) and Shawn Stevens (Juliette); eight grandchildren, Elise Rush (Tyler), Brittany Gordon (Harry), Brooke Manchester (Austen), Emily Washburn (Ralph), Tryston Stevens, Nicholas Washburn, Brianna Stevens and Anastasia Stevens; six great grandchildren, Aidan Himpsl, Jackson Rush, Maelie Santiago, Gwendolyn "GiGi" Rush, John Manchester, Levi Washburn; and his beloved dog, Piper. In addition to his parents, Jeff was predeceased by his wife, Mary E. (Fikes) Stevens. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
