Charles Wright Jr. July 4, 1953 - December 11, 2012 Charles Wright Jr., 59, passed away on December 11, 2012 at home. Charles was born July 4, 1953 in Manhattan, New York to Eloise and Charles Wright. Charles attended public school in Manhattan. The family later moved to Brooklyn, New York where he attended Canarsie High School. After completing High School, Charles moved to Long Island, New York, where he began a career as a licensed welder. He later went on to meet Annette Andrews (predeceased). To this union, his daughter, Shana was born. Charles was an avid listener of jazz music. He would spend hours listening to the music that he so loved. Charles was a loving son, devoted brother, caring father and a loyal family member. Charles leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Eloise Wright Jenkins of Syracuse, New York; daughter, Shana Wright of Long Island, New York; one sister, Monique Wright (Darren); three brothers, Clifford (Patricia), Eric (Ebony) and Tyrone; two grandchildren, Charles III and Camilla of Long Island, New York; six nieces, Shamea, Danielle, Alisha, Diamond, Christina and Niasia Erica; five nephews, Tyrone Jr., Hassan, Matthew, Cameron and Tyshawn; four great-grandnieces, Shadaysea, Charisma, Bryce, Aamiyah and Gabriella. Charles is predeceased by his father, Charles Wright Sr. and four siblings, Charlene, Christine, Elvay and Craig. Charles leaves to mourn his family and a host of relatives and friends. Calling hours will be on Monday, December 17, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon; with a service to immediately follow.
