Karin H. Richards August 9, 1936 - December 26, 2012 Karin Heiberg Richards, 76, passed away at her home in Syracuse, New York on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 after a year's battle with lung cancer. Karin graduated from Nottingham High School class of 1954. She received a BA and MA in Education from Syracuse University and worked briefly as a teacher for the Syracuse School District before leaving to raise her children. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Norm; two daughters, Lisa Kane of Syracuse, New York and Erika of Marblehead, Massachusetts; two sons, Paul (Heather) of East Syracuse, New York and Jeremy (Lisa) of Caroline, New York; and nine grandchildren. Services are private. Donations in Karin's memory may be made to Hospice of CNY, 990 Seventh North Street, Liverpool, NY 13088.
