Rudolph Stephen Bottini

Rudy Bottini passed away at his home on October 19, 2019 at the age of 92. First and foremost, Rudy was a devoted family man. He adored his wife Ann, and was a loving father to his two sons, Robert and Joseph. Joseph’s wife Cathy and their two sons, Christopher and Kevin, were a constant source of joy and pride. Rudy was born and raised in New York City. He had a long career at Lederle and raised his family in Rockland County. Rudy was a great storyteller and could talk about his Navy service during WWII with patriotic pride mixed with life-long affection for his fellow shipmates. He loved his Haverstraw community and took pleasure in being the oldest member of his bowling team as they beat the competition week after week. He was beloved by all who knew him. His kindness, caring and quick sense of humor made everyone feel special. Rudy is survived by his wife Ann, his two sons Robert and Joseph, his daughter-in-law Cathy, his grandchildren Christopher, Kevin, Laura and Brian, and his great-grandchildren Taylor and Carley. Family & friends are invited to join the Bottini family as we honor Rudy Bottini, our beloved husband, father, grandfather and dear friend on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 2-5 PM at T.J. MCGOWAN SONS FUNERAL HOME, 71 N. Central Highway, Garnerville, NY. A service will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday at 2 PM. Interment will be private.
