Dominick Peluso Sr

Dominick Peluso, 79, of Garnerville, passed away on May 18, 2018 with his family at his side. Born in Mendicino, Italy on March 8, 1939 to Antonio and Rosina (Reda) Peluso, he moved to the US in 1958. He married the love of his life, Bonnie (Vanzetta) on June 6, 1963. After 35 years of service, Dominick retired from Wyeth in Pearl River in 2001. In his retirement, he enjoyed hunting and fishing in his home-away-from-home, “upstate”, as well as spending time with his family. Dominick is survived by his five children: Rosemary (Giancarlo) Aiello; Anthony (Bernie) Peluso; Dominick Peluso, Jr.; Felicia (Luis) Olavarria and Paula (Ernesto) Echevarria, as well as his inherited daughter, Maritza Barbier, along with 11 grandchildren: Amanda, Enzo and Nico Aiello; Dominick and Anthony Peluso; Max, Marco and Olivia Olavarria; Joél, Alexis and Emma Echevarria, two sisters: Carol Zaccardo and Maria Greco, sister-in-law, Rosetta Peluso with many nieces and nephews. Dominick is predeceased by his parents Antonio and Rosina Peluso, brothers, Luigi and Ralph, and his loving wife Bonnie. The family will receive friends & relatives on Monday May 21st From 4 – 8 PM At the TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home 71 N. Central Highway Garnerville, NY. A mass of christian burial will be celebrated for Dominick on Tues. May 22nd At 10 AM in St. Peters Church in Haverstraw with interment to follow in St Peters cemetery.
