Anthony Stuart "Stu" McLaughlin July 18, 1924 - March 13, 2012 Stu was born and raised in Belfast, Northern Ireland and immigrated to the United States with his wife, Sheila in 1952. He lived in Brookfield for nearly 50 years and was a longtime member of Merrill Hills Country Club. Stu was an avid golfer, fisherman and he loved racquetball. Stu was the dear husband of Sheila; the loving father of Rebecca (Bruce) Heckel, Ena Patricia, Moya (Steve) Smitka, Tony (Jill), Kathleen (Ken) Burns, Ita Jean and Sean (Tori); the beloved grandfather of Timothy, Brigid, Shona, Mairead, T.J., Patrick, Caila, Liam and Devin; and the great grandfather to 6. A memorial service will follow at a later date.
