Robert Earl Mizell

Robert Earl Mizell, born on December 30, 1958, in Moncks Corner, South Carolina, passed away at the age of 65 on July 2, 2024, in Summerville, South Carolina. He was a respected union ironworker, a career that showcased his strength and dedication.Robert was known for his outgoing personality, often being the funniest person in the room. He was generous, always ready to help others in need. His hobbies included singing, telling jokes, and riding motorcycles, activities that brought joy not only to him but also to those around him.He is survived by his children, Matthew Mizell, Dustin Mizell, Makayla Mizell, and Allen Burbage; his grandchildren, Madison Mizell and Cody Burbage; his brothers, Doug Mizell (Kathy) and Troy Mizell (Jodi); and his sisters, Joan Price (Mack), Bonnie Andrews, and Nancy MacGregor (Matt). Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Lenno J. and Betty D. Mizell, and his sister, Yvonne Mizell.A memorial service will be held on August 10th at 12 pm at Gethsemane Baptist Church/Northwoods Baptist Church, 1446 State Rd, Summerville, SC 29486. Simplicity Funeral Home of Ladson, SC is assisting the family with the arrangements.Robert's life was marked by his warmth, humor, and kindness, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
