Legacy Funeral Home – Rose Chapel
Wade Kent Peterson
June 20th, 1958 - May 14th, 2024
Wade Kent Peterson (65), born in Minneapolis, Minnesota June 20, 1958, passed away in his Mesa, Arizona home May 14, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.
Most notably as President of family business Silk Screen Studio Inc., he strived to work with dedication, determination and passion in every professional position he held. Wade brought this same integrity and thoughtfulness to his amateur projects and hobbies, known for his self-taught handyman skills and cherished woodworking creations. Despite his endless devotion to family and friends, he seemed to always exhibit a need to do more, continuously proving reliability and lending acts of kindness were always on his mind. An advocate of sobriety and addiction support, he was proud to have served his community in sharing his story openly and without shame, combating the stigma that prevents us from seeking help and knowing we aren't alone.
Wade is survived by his mother, Avis Peterson; partner, Dee C. Moen; his daughters, Alicia (Rob) Raphael and Sondra Peterson; his grandchildren, Roman Firen and Lucian; and his former wife and mother of his children, Lauren Peterson. Preceding him in peace were his brother, Lawrence Peterson; and his father, Ivan Peterson and many more beloved family and friends.
We hope you're surrounded by the beautifully mysterious nature you appreciated so much in life and the lakes are plentiful with fish.
“Bye for Now”
for my dear father, from your daughter and friend, Sondra Rae
