Carol Ann Beko, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2024, in Canby, Oregon, at the age of 83.
Born on December 5, 1940, Carol Ann grew up in Canby and attended Canby High School. On July 17, 1963, she married the love of her life, Dick Beko. Together, they built a life centered around love, family, and community.
Carol Ann is survived by her husband of over 60 years, Dick Beko; her son, Rick Beko, and his wife Christina; and her daughter, Julie Beko. She was a devoted grandmother to Brandi Maderia, who, along with her husband Paul, has two children, Margaret and John. Carol Ann also cherished her granddaughter Kelli and her husband Brenton. Her daughter Julie's son, Brady, held a special place in her heart as well. Carol Ann’s deep love for her grandchildren was evident to all who knew her.
She is also survived by her sister, Nancy Traverso, with whom she shared a lifelong bond.
Carol Ann’s life was marked by her unwavering dedication to her family, her warm and caring nature, and her love for her grandchildren. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
