Donna L. Gilbert – Graveside services for Donna L. Gilbert, 75, of Columbia, will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Woodridge Memorial Park, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington, SC.  Pastor Bo Myers will officiate.

Donna Gilbert passed away September 17, 2024. Born in Pensacola, Florida, she was a daughter of the late Medford C. Sanders and Lucille W. Sanders. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt who enjoyed life and time with her large family. Donna enjoyed crafting and solving crossword puzzles. She was a dedicated USC Gamecocks fan and enjoyed genealogy. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her. 

Donna is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Dave Gilbert; daughters Jennifer LeGrand of Chapin, Davette Gilbert of Gilbert; sister, Cynthia Anthony of Vancleave, Mississippi; daughter-in-law, Shannon Miller of Chapin; granddaughters, Mallory and Taylor Gilbert; Brianna Anderson (Dylan); grandsons, Kevin and Todd Miller, Blake Wall (Carly); great-grandchildren, Dawson Daniels, Jamilyn Miller, Cameryn Miller, Brody Miller, Aubrey Miller, Addi Anderson, Bailey Wall, Danny Anderson and Ellie Wall; nieces, Tina Thompson (Paul), Annette Greer, Michele Greer (Bill); nephews Kenny Hartman Jr (Maryann), Tim Greer; great nieces, Shelby Parker (Austin), Amanda Thompson, Alannah Underwood (Rico); great nephews, Chase Hartman (Kaela), Alin Kabar, Joseph Greer, and a large and loving extended family.

In addition to her parents, Donna was predeceased by her first husband, Grady H. LeGrand, sons, Charles “Bubba” Miller and Shannon Gilbert; daughter, Terry Baxley; sister, Carolyn Hartman; brother-in-law, Kenny Hartman; son-in-law, James Baxley. 

The family would like to thank her care team for their loving attention and skillful care during her illness.
