Paulette Jane Burrows, aged 61, of Kuna, Idaho, passed away on September 24, 2024. Born on April 21, 1963, Paulette was known for her boundless kindness and infectious laughter. She was a devoted wife to Jon Burrows and a loving mother, sister, and friend who dedicated her life to bringing joy to those around her.

Paulette and Jon's life together was an adventurous one, marked by their travels with the military, which took them to places such as New Mexico and Misawa Air Base in Japan, before finally settling in Mountain Home, Idaho. After retiring, they made their home in Kuna, where Paulette continued to impact lives positively.

A woman of many talents, Paulette was always singing, whether belting out her favorite tunes or composing her own. Her resilience shone brightly, particularly during her victorious battle against bladder cancer in 2015. She never wavered in her efforts to uplift everyone she met.

Her career was as diverse as her interests, including roles at Citi from 2013 to 2015, DTV and T-Mobile in the mid-2000s, and earlier as a passenger coordinator for military airlifts. She also managed at Albertsons and Wendy's in New Mexico from 1993 to 1998.

Outside of her professional life, Paulette was an avid gardener, sharing the bounty of her garden and the beauty of her flowers with friends and family. She was also a gifted crocheter, crafting many cherished blankets for her loved ones. Her role as a grandmother was one she cherished deeply, always going above and beyond to make her grandchildren's birthdays special.

Paulette is survived by her husband, Jon; parents, Carolyn and Art Lima; Mother-in-law, Carolyn Burrows; sisters: Arta (Kenneth) Johnson, Holly (Gene) Parkhurst, Alyssa (Nate) Legrand, Sondra (Tony) Thornton; children, Jennifer (Kris) Henslee, Andrea (Thomas) Nicholson, Amanda (Brandon) Brewster, Alexis, and Matthew; grandchildren, Hailey, Jandison, Landon, Camron, Peighton, Alex, Jackson, Jayden, Addison, Allison, Kaitlon, Savannah, Ireland, and Donniven; and great-grandchildren, Xavier. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Paul and Virginia Lima, and Norval and Pauline Huff.

Paulette's life was a testament to the power of joy and the impact of a kind heart. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

We Entrusted Paulette Burrows's Care To

Accent Funeral Home

A local landmark in Meridian, Accent Funeral Home has been serving the community since 1986. The business was first established with a vision to offer services in a comfortable, homelike atmosphere. This vision is reflected in our building, a Tudor-style home built in 1938 for a local postman. When remodeling the house to accommodate the funeral home, much care was taken to preserve the original architectural integrity of the building. The Accent Funeral Home holds a special relationship with the Meridian community and is sensitive to the area’s changing needs, providing service and friendship to comfort those we serve....
