"Though she is gone, her love remains a guiding light in our hearts. We celebrate the beautiful memories she gifted us and the legacy of kindness she leaves behind."

Mary "Romie" Armijo, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2024, at the age of 94. She was the cherished wife of Frank Armijo for over 50 plus years, who she is now with.

Born to Julian Montoya and Agnes Garcia, Romie was the last of her siblings, carrying forward the legacy of love and resilience instilled by her parents. Her life was marked by her deep devotion to family, and she took great pride in her roles as a mother and grandmother.

Romie is survived by her three sons, Frank Anthony, Dennis James, and Steven Roger, who carry forward her spirit and values. She was a doting grandmother to 16 grandchildren, a loving great-grandmother to 29 great-grandchildren, and an adored great-great-grandmother to 19 great-great-grandchildren. Her family was her greatest joy, and she nurtured and supported each of them, creating bonds that will last through generations.

Romie’s warmth, kindness, and unwavering faith touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She was known for her generous heart, often putting the needs of others before her own. Her laughter and wisdom will be deeply missed, but her legacy will live on in the hearts of our family.
