Jeannie Lipscomb  was fourth of nine children born on November 23, 1961 in Detroit, MI to the late Henry and Evelyn Lipscomb.

Jeannie  a dedicated student, graduated from Osborn High School with the Class of 1979 and went on to further her studies at Macomb College. She embraced her faith early in life, beginning a spiritual journey that flourished over time. As the middle child, she took on significant responsibilities, supporting her younger siblings with remarkable maturity and grace beyond her years.

Jeannie life took on new meaning when she gave birth to her only child, her beautiful daughter, Melody (aka Tank), whom she loved and adored. There was no doubt,  “Tank” was her greatest source of pride; and she would often expressed “she is the daughter any mother would hope for”

Jeannie  After a distinguished 35-year tenure as a Certified Nurse Assistant, she committed herself to supporting her daughter’s family and military service. As a loving mother, she enjoyed traveling tovarious states and overseas destinations with her daughter whenever the military moved them. Her encouragement and support were critical factors in her daughter’s successful military career. Jeannie found comfort in shopping trips, specifically during the holidays; she would always buy everyone PJs as gifts, mainly because she loved wearing them. She also enjoyed watching cooking shows and spending time with her family, especially her grandson Isaiah whom she absolutely adored… making his breakfast in the morning put a special “spark” in her eyes.

Jeannie will forever be remembered as someone with a generous heart, always willing to give to help others. She didn’t spoke much, but she had no problem extending kindness to others, regardless of their situation. Her love for the Lord was evident in her compassionate heart. She was an amazing mother, sister, aunt, and will always be loved and cherished.

Jeannie  survived by her loving daughter Melody and her grandson Isaiah, her brother John and her sisters Renee, Kassandra and Susie
