Mr. Thomas “Tom” Richard Finder, age 84, a resident of Lake Alfred, Florida passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Life Care Center in Winter Haven surrounded by family. Mr. Finder was born November 25, 1939, in Muskegon, Michigan to Raymond Richard and Irene (Speake) Finder. He graduated from Florida Southern College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, retired as a Pharmaceutical Representative and attended the First United Methodist Church in Auburndale. He had been a Lake Alfred resident since 1983, coming from Broward County and a United States Army Veteran. Tom enjoyed hunting, fishing, wildlife, birds and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 57 years – Barbara Ann Finder (4/19/24) and brother – Robert Finder. Tom is survived by his loving family, 2 sons – Ray (Angela) Finder and Bryan (Jodi) Finder both of Polk City, Florida; 7 grandchildren – Katy, Justin, Tiffany, Wesley, Madison, Chole & Markus; 6 great grandchildren – Lacey, Kendall, Cameron, Ryker, Braelyn & Mckinleigh. Funeral services will be held 11 am Thursday, October 17th at Kersey Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park.
