Rebecca “Becky” Lawson Gose, age 75 of Blountville, entered the glories of Heaven on Wednesday, October 9, 2024.  Becky was born on October 19, 1948, in Kingsport, TN to Joseph and Wilcie Fleenor.  Becky married Scott Gose and after a beautiful life together, he preceded her in death on September 7, 2020.   

Becky’s loving character and kind voice will be missed by all who know her.  She loved the Lord, and she was a devout member of Belvue Christian Church for 40 plus years.  Becky loved raising and showing Halter Horses, bowling, and water skiing.   The jewels of her life were her grandchildren.  She could always be found in the rodeo stands cheering them on.  The love that she instilled in the lives of others will continue on for generations to come.  

Becky was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Scott Gose.  Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Angela Magnuson and husband Aaron; granddaughter, Presley Magnuson; and grandson, Colton Magnuson. 

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 17, 2024, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Carter Trent Funeral Home in Kingsport.  A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm with Pastor Jeff Debord officiating.  Graveside services will be held at 2:30 pm at Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery following the funeral service.  Nick Trent, Connor Folkner, Chad Ferrell, Caleb Smith, Colton Magnuson, and Eli Powell will be serving as pallbearers.
