It is with great sadness Noemi Mercedes Garcia Romero de Rizzo

went home to be with the Lord and Savior on October 16, 2024 at age 84.  Noemi was born to Santiago and Noemi Garcia on December 18, 1939 in Quevedo, Ecuador.  As a child she lived in Catarama, and growing up lived, and went to school in Duran.  

 

Noemi met the love of her life, her husband Pablo Rizzo in 1957 at a social gathering.  Later they were married, lived in Salamina, and went on to have 10 children, raising 8 in Guayaquil, Ecuador.

Noemi moved to United States in 1984, were she worked at Good Shepherd Home, Mopac, and Accupac.  

 

Noemi loved gardening, cooking, spending time with her family, laughing.  She was a very caring, and giving person.  She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, friend, always thinking of others first.

Noemi is survived by her children to cherish her memory: Jonny Rizzo, Hernan Rizo, Raul Rizzo, Marjorie Rizzo, Richard Rizzo, Byron Rizzo, Rossana Rizzo, Karina Castillo, grandchildren, great grandchildren, 4 brothers, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

 

 

 

 

Come to Rest

 

God saw you getting weaker,

so He did what He thought best.

He came and stood beside you,

and He whispered,

“Come to rest”.

We could not understand it,

no matter how we tried.

If love could have saved you,

you never would have died.
