Michael "Mike" J. Mozier
November 11th, 1963 - October 14th, 2024
“How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.” AA Milne
Michael James Mozier, of Sewell, NJ, formerly Northeast Philadelphia, passed away on October 14th, 2024, at the age of 60.
Born to the late Arthur and Geraldine (Mazzaro) Mozier on November 11th, 1963, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Mike is the beloved brother of Anna, Irene, Donna, Kimberly, and Miriam. As the only son of his Italian family, his siblings often joked about how he was referred to as the Golden Child. In the 1980's, Michael found himself working with Kimberly (nee Hanners). His goofy, overly confident, charismatic personality caught Kim's attention, with his unwavering persistence on taking her on a date, she finally said yes. The pair married on February 1st, 1985, spending a loving 39 years together. Together, Kim and Mike welcomed their two loving children, James and Joseph. As a family, they often went down the shore to Ocean City and summer vacations to Disney World. As his boys grew up, they gave Mike the gift of daughters he never had with Stephanie and Alicia Basile. Throughout Mike's life, he worked tirelessly to provide a good life for his family by often working two jobs. His strong work ethic, perseverance, and dedication to his family provided his sons with the blueprint on how to be the best man they can be. He worked on home projects with his son, Jimmy, showing him how to repair items around the house and passing his knowledge onto Joe in his later years.
When Mike was not with his family, he could be found listening to MMR, watching Philadelphia Sports, such as the Phillies, and leaf blowing even when he wasn't supposed to. His family remembers his "No Filter" attitude fondly, recalling memories over the years of his quirky comments.
Mike will be remembered fondly by many friends and family for his love of his family, charismatic personality, and his authentic self.
Interment will be held privately by the family.
