Memorial

Loyal I. Perry III, 65, of Boise, Idaho, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2024.

Born on August 29, 1959 to Loyal I. Perry Jr. and Marjorie Jean Perry as their eldest son. He graduated from Borah High School in 1977 and attended Boise State University where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in finance. Loyal retired from ESA Credit Union where he had worked as the branch manager. He was known for his professionalism and dedication in his field.

Loyal had a deep love for the outdoors. He was a master in  hunting and fishing and hiking for mushrooms and antlers, at least to his children. He cherished his time in the mountains in and around the valley  with family and friends, creating lasting memories he would never take credit for. He was a humble man and respected nature and all it had to offer.

A gentle giant, Loyal was a loving son, brother, father, uncle and grandfather; a dedicated family man he was always willing to lend a helping hand. As a very proud father of 3, he adored his 11 grandchildren and especially loved to untangle their fishing line and go searching for hooks in the trees. He gave us our love for adventure and taught us to always value family over everything. Loyal fought a hard battle against time the last couple of years of his life and with his family as his motivation he stayed strong thru the end. He will be remembered not only for his adventurous spirit but also for the joy and love he brought to those around him, his quick wit and humor. Though Loyal will be deeply missed, there is hope in knowing that he is no longer in pain and that his spirit will forever live on in the lives he has touched. Loyal lived a peaceful and wholesome life and his unwavering strength and tranquility was a comfort to all who loved him.

Loyal, was preceded in death by his brother, David and his father, Loyal.

He is survived by his mother, Jean; his sister, Debbie (Steve) and brother, Mike (Ann); nieces: Kara (Alex), Brittany and nephew Joel; his children: Raejean (Brian), Stephanie (Brandon), Patrick (Natalie) and his 11 grandchildren: Kyleigh, Alivia, Vicktoria, Zachary, Kody, Bayleigh, Kaybri, Bryce, Annalyn, Easton and Austin; as well as many friends and family members who will forever cherish his memory.

We Entrusted Loyal Perry's Care To

Accent Funeral Home

Accent Funeral Home

A local landmark in Meridian, Accent Funeral Home has been serving the community since 1986. The business was first established with a vision to offer services in a comfortable, homelike atmosphere. This vision is reflected in our building, a Tudor-style home built in 1938 for a local postman. When remodeling the house to accommodate the funeral home, much care was taken to preserve the original architectural integrity of the building. The Accent Funeral Home holds a special relationship with the Meridian community and is sensitive to the area’s changing needs, providing service and friendship to comfort those we serve.
