Elizabeth R. Webster, known to her friends as Betty, passed away on October 20, 2024, in Venice, FL. She was born in Jersey City, NJ to Frank and Regina Wynkoop.

Betty enjoyed caring for animals and especially liked dogs and horses growing up. She became interested in learning martial arts and joined a local Judo club where she met her future husband, Ed Webster, who was an instructor there. After getting married and moving to Atco, NJ together, they would welcome two sons in the family: Eddie and Brian. Betty soon found much of her time consumed with raising her boys and managing their farmette which consisted of horses, cows, ducks, turkeys, goats and even a skunk named “Flower.”  Many other animals came and went during the years, including dogs, rabbits, and birds (including a talking parrot named “Paco”). After the boys grew up and her husband retired, the couple moved to Ocracoke Island, NC where they remained for more than 13 years. During this time, Betty became a grandmother four times over. They then moved to Venice, FL where Betty would enjoy spending time with her friends, riding bikes and traveling with her husband as often as possible, including frequent visits to see her grandchildren.

There are no services scheduled at this time.
