Traevon Tyree Andrus
February 13th, 1995 - October 14th, 2024
Our beloved, Traevon Tyree Andrus, 29, of Fort Collins, Colorado was taken away from us way too soon on October 14, 2024. His loss has been a complete devastation and shock to our entire family. Traevon was born February 3, 1995, to Troy and Gena Andrus. He was one of 7 children: Troy, Tyshawn, Tevin, Teyana, Tevante, and Tanielle, He left behind 3+1 beautiful children. Teveah, Taelynn, TesZ’iah and Eliana. Anybody who knew him would be able to tell you that he had a special place in his heart for children, but especially his own.
Traevon was a very hard worker and always wanted to provide for his family. He worked as a contractor. He loved carpentry and wasn’t satisfied unless he was getting his hands dirty. He helped build beautiful bridges in this life, and will continue to do the same in the next.
He was preceded in death by his three grandfathers Alonzo Troy Andrus Sr, Floyd Junior Wilkerson and Alfred Williams Jr. He is survived by his siblings Troy, Tyshawn, Tevin, Teyana, Tevante, and Tanielle. He is survived by his parents, Troy and Gena and his grandmothers Tracey Williams, and Debbie Wilkerson. He is also survived by his aunties and uncles, Rob and Tracey Ingram, Therese and Monica Andrus, Leslie and Rick Joseph. Ethan Brown and Ciara Bilberry, Raesean and Zarawsha Ector, Rena and John Wilkerson and Anthony Williams. He has two nieces and one nephew, and a multitude of cousins who were like siblings to him.
He was loved beyond measure. Not only was he beautiful on the outside, he was a beautiful soul on the inside as well. He was always willing to help anyone and would give the shirt off of his back to absolutely anyone in need. He loved his family deeply and was ready to protect them at any cost. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him. He was an irreplaceable son, grandson, brother, father, uncle and friend. This walk of life will forever be altered without him. He gained his wings and will forever be watching over us. He would not want us to be sad.
DO NOT CRY BECAUSE IT IS OVER, SMILE BECAUSE IT HAPPENED
