Eleanor Duval

Holyoke - Eleanor M. Duval, 100,  passed away on Oct. 20,2024 at Mary Meadow's. She was born on Aug. 16, 1924, in Chicopee, MA to Alfred J. and Loretta (Gendron) Duval.  She moved to Holyoke in May of 2005 and previously lived in S. Hadley, W. Springfield, and Chicopee.  Eleanor retired in 1981 after working for 17 years with Camfour Inc., in Westfield.  She is a communicant of St. Theresa's Church in S. Hadley.  She enjoyed traveling and did so extensively through the years.  She is survived by a sister, Beatrice Rioux, and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by three sisters, Jeanne & Rita Duval, and Claire Shea.  Visitation and a funeral service will be held Nov. 1, 2024, at 10:00am at the Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery in W. Springfield.
