Carolyn Sue Jones, age 79, from Elizabethton, TN and current resident of Knoxville, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 14, 2024. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all who love her. She will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Helen Roberson; sister, Brenda Lowe; and brothers, Bud and Bill Roberson.

She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Anthony “Tony” Jones; two sons, Tony Jones (Tanya) and Chris Jones (LeaAnn); grandchildren, Julie Sands (Brandon), Logan Loveday (Jonas,) Abigail Blake (Patrick,) and Trey Jones; great-grandkids, Braden, Oakley, Kason, Bayleigh, Jayse, Jep, Jacoby, and Callum; and a large extended family.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at North Knoxville Baptist Church, located at 217 W. Oldham Ave. Knoxville, TN 37917.

A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 6:00 pm with Pastor Jim McNeal officiating.
