Mrs. Arleen Martha Freeman, age 83, a resident of Winter Haven went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Good Shepherd Hospice surrounded by family. Mrs. Freeman was born July 8, 1941, in Queens, New York to Arnold and Linnea (Bowman) Huber. She was a Florida resident (Polk Co. & Osceola Co.) since 1989 coming from NY. Arleen was an Executive Assistant for Freeman Security and a Homemaker. She was a member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary, Osceola Moose Lodge, NY Order of Eastern Star and was of the Lutheran faith. Arleen enjoyed bingo, watching game shows, collecting porcelain dolls and loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband – James Walter Freeman, Sr. (2001), son – James Walter Freeman, Jr., 2 brothers – Gregory Huber & Arnold Huber and sister Mary Wolf. Arleen is survived by her loving family, son – Darren (Marie) Freeman; daughter – Denise D’amico; sister-in-law – Joanne Pace; 9 grandchildren – James Walter Freeman, III, Joshua Ryan Freeman, Sara Nicole Freeman, Brian Jarred Freeman, Darren James Freeman, Emma Jade Freeman, James D'amico, Nicholas D’amico & Michael D’amico and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 7pm Monday, November 4th at Kersey Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 6pm.
