Marion O'Brien
February 9th, 1941 - October 25th, 2024
Marion O’Brien, aged 83, passed away peacefully at Coastal Carolina Hospital in Hardeeville, South Carolina on October 25, 2024.
Born in Brooklyn, NY to James and Ruth Guerra, Marion graduated from St. Joseph High School in Brooklyn, NY. She had a long and successful career at BMW in Montvale, NJ. Marion enjoyed traveling, especially to Atlantic City. Marion was a devout member of the catholic church.
Marion is survived by her sister Maryellen Ruiz (Freddy) of Brooklyn, NY, three children; Stephen O’Brien (Debbie) of Murrells Inlet, SC, Kevin O’Brien (Noreen) of Hilton Head Island, SC and Ruth O’Brien of New York, NY. Grandchildren: Christopher (Caitie), Kyle, Stephanie, Katie, Connor and Caroline. She was predeceased by her sister, Ruth, and granddaughter Meghan.
Memorial services will be held in New York at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
