Danny Coppinger
June 2nd, 1947 - November 4th, 2024
Danny Coppinger passed away at his home on Monday November 4th, 2024. He was born in Bluefield West Virginia on June 2, 1947.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Marsha Coppinger; his children Todd (Staci) Coppinger and Brad Coppinger (Jolene) and his four wonderful grandchildren; Jack, Abby, Kate, and Cody. He is also survived by his brother Jeff Coppinger.
Danny was a successful business owner in Charlotte for 30 years. He is immensely proud that his sons are still operating Bishop Metal Stamping.
Danny loved his family, friends, and sports. He was an avid golfer and passed the love of the game to both his boys and grandson. When he was not golfing, you could find him cheering for his Kentucky Wildcats or his Alabama Crimson Tide. He and Marsha enjoyed hanging out with their friends here in Charlotte, at the beach, attending music concerts and traveling with their family and friends.
A celebration of Life will be held on December 14th at Cedarwood Country Club from 3:00 to 5:00. The address is 4100 Pineville-Matthews Road Charlotte NC 28266
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Assistance League of Charlotte in his name.
