With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Reyne M. Morishige, who left this world on November 8, 2024, in Aurora, Colorado. Born on September 26, 1962, in the beautiful surroundings of Oahu, Hawaii, Reyne lived a life full of love, warmth, and dedication. Reyne was a beacon of kindness and generosity, known by all as a considerate and sweet soul. Her love for window shopping, trying new restaurants, and savoring the simple joy of watching her favorite Christmas romantic comedies brought her immense happiness. But above all, it was the time spent with her beloved children and grandchildren that she cherished most. Reyne found great joy in being a devoted mother to Derrick, Jay, and Carla, and a doting grandmother to Royce, Rhiannon, Cashton, and Claire. Educated at Kailua High School in Oahu and later at the University of Colorado, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree, Reyne carved out a successful career in management. She made significant contributions as a General Manager at Advanced Auto Parts, where she dedicated over eight years to her work, always leading with integrity and grace. Her legacy is carried on by her parents, David and Sarah Morishige, her siblings Sandra "Sandy" Komesu and Derrick "Butch" Morishige, and by her many friends and loved ones, including Madison, Sarah, Lucy, Robyn, and Christa. Her presence will be dearly missed by all who knew her. A ceremony to honor Reyne's life will be held at the Romero Chapel of Repose, located at 15150 E. Iliff Ave, Aurora, CO 80014. Family and friends are welcome to join and pay their respects to a woman whose kindness and love touched everyone she met. Reyne's memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved and in the countless lives she positively impacted.
