Lorraine Ann Adelberg

Lorraine Ann Cisco Adelberg, 71, of Bullhead City, Ariz., died on Nov. 4, 2024, at Western Regional Medical Center in Bullhead City after a brief and courageous battle with a rare, virulent strain of cancer. The devoted wife of Steven Adelberg for 45 years, she was the daughter of the late Helen DeMichiel Cisco and the late Frederick O. and Eileen Cisco.

Born on April 5, 1953, in Torrington, Conn., Lorraine graduated from Torrington High School in 1971. She earned her Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) degree from Hartford Hospital, then settled in California in the late 1970s, where she went on to earn her Registered Nurse (RN) degree. As assistant director of an assisted-living facility for many years, Lorraine found in California, and in Arizona in later years, a life that she loved—sunny walkable beaches, calm desert expanses, interesting and fun-loving cities, welcoming communities of friends and neighbors, and a profession to which she was utterly dedicated.

In addition to her husband, Steven, Lorraine is survived by her sister Beverly Cisco Kennedy of New Hartford, Conn., and her sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Walter Schuttler, of Asheville, N.C., as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Daniel Frederick Cisco, who died several years before she was born.

A funeral service will be held for Lorraine on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at Los Osos Valley Mortuary & Memorial Park, 2260 Los Osos Valley Rd., Los Osos, Calif.
