Forever In Our Hearts

Celebrating the life of:

Jean (Iverson) Lamb, 76 of Melbourne, FL, formerly of Mahnomen, MN, passed away Monday, November 18, 2024 at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, FL.

Jean was born December 14, 1947 in Mahnomen, MN, the daughter of Bennett and Blanche (Dusa) Iverson. She grew up and attended school in Mahnomen, MN and graduated with the Class of 1966. After graduation, she moved to Fargo, ND to work, where she later met her husband LeRoy (Lee) Lamb of Dilworth, MN. On July 12, 1969 they were married in St. Paul, MN, where they made their first home. Jean and LeRoy were later employed by the Veteran’s Administration in Pittsburgh, PA until they retired.

While in retirement, they enjoyed traveling the country in their RV. Jean enjoyed reading, shopping, and she had quite the green thumb! Sunflowers were her favorite. Jean had a quick wit and loved a good joke. Her family was her greatest treasure and she leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Jean was a devoted and loving mother, and later became an even better “Granny.”

Jean is survived by her husband of 55 years, LeRoy Lamb of Melbourne, FL; daughters Laura (Wilson) Hickman of Homosassa, FL, and Jill (Mark) Bowen of Palm Bay, FL; six grandchildren, who brought her immense joy: Tyler and Hannah Bowen, Kaylee and Kelsey Blyth, and Seth and Kellan Hickman; several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews; and her beloved brother, Bob (Jane) Iverson of Glyndon, MN, with whom she shared a lifelong bond of love, friendship, and humor.

Jean is preceded in death by her parents.

Blessed be the memory of Jean Iverson Lamb
