Donald Anthony Kazi
November 19th, 1933 - November 19th, 2024
Donald Anthony Kazi passed away on his 91st birthday, November 19th. He was born in Schenectady, NY to Anthony Frank Kazi and Anna Margaret Leopold, their only child. He served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves and then became a State Trooper in Albany, NY. He married Diane Kazi who passed away in 2020.
Donald retired after 20 years with the State Police and moved to Florida where he met his beloved friend, partner, and significant other, Dorothy Gray who was at his bedside when he passed away at the Hospice House in Venice, FL. He leaves no other survivors.
In his early years, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, horse racing, rodeos, and air shows.
A memorial service will be held at Farley Funeral Home, North Port, on Tuesday, December 3rd at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, donations of your choice would be appreciated.
