Robert A. Moses, 85, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Venice, Florida. Born July 6, 1939, he was the son of the late Charles M. and Martha B. Moses. He was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years Patricia Daley and two brothers Charles H. Moses and Donald K. Moses. He is survived by his loving partner of 13 years Ruth Grimm, his sister Sara Ann (Sandee) Martin and her husband George, sister-in-law Judith Moses, two nephews and two great nieces.

After college Bob went into insurance management with Monumental Life Insurance. Continuing his insurance career with various companies he was a Regional Vice President when he decided to make a change. In 1988 he became an independent Financial Planner with a company associated with Raymond James Financial Group.

Upon retirement Bob moved to his beach house in Ocean Pines, Maryland where he enjoyed fishing and crabbing. He also had a passion for the wildlife and scenery at the beach and became a gifted amateur photographer.

In 2019 Bob and Ruthie moved to Florida and enjoyed their time together where they made many wonderful friendships.

A memorial gathering will be held at Farley Funeral Home in Venice on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 from 11:00AM-12:00PM with the service to immediately follow.

Memorials in his name may be made to the Leukemia Society, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, or the animal rescue of your choice.
