William P. Danna
September 22nd, 1930 - November 25th, 2024
William P. Danna, 94, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 25, 2024. He was born in Kingsport to the late Joseph and Mary Danna. William served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He retired from the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office after over 20 years of service as a deputy. He was a volunteer member of the Kingsport Life Saving Crew for over 40 years.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty Danna.
Survivors include his sons, Jeffrey Danna and wife Alicia, Randall Danna; daughter, Reba Kane and husband Bob; several grandchildren; along with a host of extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 12pm to 1pm on Monday, December 2, 2024 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Kingsport. A funeral service will follow with Pastor David Salley officiating.
A graveside service will follow at Hamlett Dobson Memorial Park.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Wexford House for their loving care as well as special thank you to R.N. Mark and C.N.A. Shea for their support.
