Tucson, Arizona James S. Rollins, 94, passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 24th at home after complications from COVID.
Born February 13, 1930 in Kirksville, MO, Jim was the son of John Benjamin Rollins and Marie Irene Downing. He was the 2nd son and fourth child of eight children. He was preceded in death by his first wife Jacqueline (Jackie) Rollins.
During his lifetime he enjoyed traveling in the United States with his wife Sue, restoring antique cars, stained glass, and various other creative crafts.
Jim and his wife Sue attended Holy Way Presbyterian Church in Tucson until his health deteriorated.
He is survived by his second wife, Sue, 3 children Bonnie Bunten (Steve), Helena Henry, Jeff Rollins (Robin) and 2 stepchildren Jim Lockwood (Mo) and Barb Weno (JD Knight) plus many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
James will be cremated at Adair Funeral Home in Tucson Arizona. A celebration of life ceremony will be scheduled later.
