Linda Loveless Davidson, age77 of Church Hill, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at home surrounded by her family.  Linda was born on July 20, 1947, in Flint, MI to the late Pat and Jennie Loveless.  On June 30, 1979, Linda married her most cherished friend and love of her life, Robert Davidson, and after 45 years of a beautiful marriage together, he survives. 

Linda and Robert marriage combined two families and together they raised their five children without making any differences between the children.  Linda’s greatest gift was giving to anyone in need, whether it was family, friends, or a stranger.  She was of the Baptist faith, and she was a true servant of Jesus Christ.  All who knew her probably received something that they needed or wanted.  Linda had many titles: wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother.  However, the title she loved most was Christian.  She will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched. 

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Wayne Loveless; sister, Pauline Loveless; and brothers-in-law, Charles Jarrett, and Tony Gouge.  Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Robert Davidson; two daughters, Kathrine Carter and husband, Mark, and Kim Mullins and husband, James; four sons, Topsy Davis and wife, Wendy, Chris Jarrett and wife, Stephanie, Brian Davidson and wife, Leigh, and Shannon Davidson and wife, Amanda; two sisters, Cathy Jarrett, and Patricia Johnson and husband, Bill; sister-in-law, Carol Loveless; 15 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Strength and Everlasting Love Free-Will Baptist Church in Roan Mountain, PO Box 2, Roan Mountain, TN 37687. 

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Carter-Trent Funeral Home Church Hill.  A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Pastor Kenneth Baker officiating.  Entombment will follow at Church Hill Memory Gardens with Linda’s family and friends serving as pallbearers.
