Charlene "Charli" Marie Neal
February 10th, 1960 - December 9th, 2024
On December 9, 2024, Charlene “Charli” Neal, of Meridian, Idaho, went home to be with Jesus. She was 64 years old. She experienced the ultimate peace and joy that only God can provide.
She fought courageously and kept us all on our toes until she went home. She said most recently, “I’m spry, I’m good.”
Charli had an adventurous spirit. She enjoyed skiing, hiking, decorating, and spending time with her grandchildren. You could often find her redecorating, refinishing, or repainting something beautifully. She had a talent that was beyond words to describe. She would often describe herself as Dutch and that is why she liked patterns, colors, and all the things that she pulled together.
Born February 10, 1960, in Bismarck, North Dakota, to Roy and Martha Neal, she was the youngest of three children. She attended Bismarck State College and Portland State University. Her sense of adventure led her to live in many places throughout her life, meeting many wonderful and treasured people whom she still calls friends to this day.
She spent many years working in marketing and project management in engineering most recently at Merrick. She took incredible pride in her job and loved the friends that she made over the years.
She had a big heart and would fiercely protect the people she loved and cared about.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Martha Neal; her grandparents, Carl and Marie Hausauer; her brother, Roger Neal; and various aunts, uncles, and family members.
She is survived by her daughter, Danielle (Jeff) Bowman, and her grandchildren Jonah, Hannah, Gabe, Andrew, and Alex, as well as her sister, Cheryl Neal.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
A memorial of Charli’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 19th at Eagle Christian Church, 100 S Short Rd. Eagle, ID 83616.
