Robert "Bob" Wickersham

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robert "Bob" Wickersham, who departed this life on December 6th, 2024, in Olympia, Washington. Born on May 27th, 1941, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Bob lived a life marked by dedication, skill, and service.

Bob was the beloved husband of Corrine Wickersham, with whom he shared 38 joyous years of marriage, having wed on November 16th, 1986, in Kamloops, BC, Canada. They built a life together, enriched by shared passions and mutual support. Bob will be remembered fondly by Corrine and the many lives he touched throughout his life.

His career was as industrious as it was varied. Bob was a television and radio technician in Texas and California, a testament to his affinity for technology. He later retired from a distinguished career at Intel, where he worked as a power supply design technician. His dedication to his work was not only professional but also personal, as seen in his love for computers—a passion he delighted in throughout his life.

Bob served his country with honor as a Marine and carried the values he learned there into every aspect of his life. He was honorably discharged, leaving a legacy of service and integrity

Preceded in death by his sister Barbara Wickersham, father Robert Wickersham, and mother L. Berniece Wickersham, Bob's passing marks the end of a familial era. Yet, his legacy endures through those who survive him and all who were fortunate enough to share in his life's journey.

To honor his life, a ceremony was held on Monday, December 16th, 2024, at Yelm Cemetery. 

Though Robert "Bob" Wickersham has left this world, he will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew him. His life was a testament to dedication, expertise, and love—a legacy that will be cherished and remembered with respect and gratitude.
